  • Hanjague the humpback whale, named after the granite islet in the Eastern Isles. Hanjague or An Wynjek in Cornish "the windy one" has no vegetation and serves as a nesting ground for seabirds.

Acrylic painting on driftwood. Hung with brass eyelets and whipped twine.

    A piece measuring approximately 30cm x 5.5cm x 2.5-3cm  (H x W x D).

    Original artwork by Gemma Pearce.

The type of Driftwood/wood found varies. It is not always known if the wood has been treated (varnished/painted) when found.

Each Driftwood painting is unique, prints and back in stock requests are sadly unavailble. If you find a piece has sold you may contact me for a commission of a similar piece or wait and see what the tide brings me!

Colour may vary slightly from image shown due to photographic lighting conditions and your computer screen settings.
