Blue Horizon

"Blue Horizon" - Sunnier days are coming and more time will be spent on the water. Gazing at this piece evokes memories of heading out the back of the islands with my Dad on his boat, dropping hand lines over the side to catch Pollock and Mackerel. Gently rocking with the waves under the blazing sun, watching the horizon to evade sea sickness, waiting for that tug on the line and hauling it up to find out what you have caught! The sea breeze pushing moist air over the islands forming the large cumulus cloud, indicating the way home.

Acrylic painting on a deep edge canvas (approx. 40cm x 40cm x 3.8cm).

Painting fully wrapped around the edges.

Finished with satin UV varnish and ready to hang without a frame for a contemporary look.
